Welcome to Lake Taupo Bed and Breakfast

Indulge in the ultimate luxury hosted accommodation experience at Lake Taupo Bed and Breakfast. Nestled in the heart of Acacia Bay, Taupo, New Zealand, our charming B&B offers a unique blend of comfort and elegance, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

 

Robert & Gail are seasoned B&B hosts having run a boutique lodge in Taupo for many years.  Robert, a builder, has just finished building this beautiful home with an entire wing dedicated to BNB.  Gail, a midwife in Taupo, has lavished her flair on the interior design.  We hope our guests will love it.    Please note we have a young English Springer Spaniel called Saxon.  He is not allowed in the guest rooms without an invite!

Are pets allowed at the property?

We only allow dogs by pre-arrangement as we have a family dog of our own.  Dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture.

Is parking available for guests?

Yes, we provide complimentary parking for all our guests during their stay.

We have a large driveway with ample parking for larger vehicles, trailers, boats, caravans or motorhomes.

What activities are available in the area?

Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, fishing, and sightseeing in the beautiful Taupo region.

We had a most lovely stay at Gail’s place. Everything about it was A+ and fresh and new. Styled so nicely and with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Also included breakfast treats of fresh fruit, O.J, granola yoghurt and toast. The bathroom is beautiful and the shower was great. We only had one night as we were there for a summer concert and Gail very kindly dropped us back to our vehicle that had been left in town for the night. There is also an inviting looking 2 person hot tub off the main bedroom that we never got to soak in so we shall just have to come back another time.

My absolute favorite air BNB i have ever stayed at. The rooms were clean and tidy , my favorite the beds! They were soo comfortable and cozy i slept like a baby, bathroom is stunning and pristine. This whole place was beautiful to stay at. Gail and her husband were absolute gems helpful, thoughtful Gail even dropped us off at our concert the best and by far my favourite BNB hostess. Trust me this place is the place you want to stay at when visiting taupo! Me and my friends had such an amazing time staying here we cant stop talking about it! I cant wait to come back during winter.
My friends review : 10/10 accomadation loved it, clean tidy and beautiful. Just so many small touches that made this home so welcoming and comfortable. The sweetest Owners always happy to help with anything.
